                                     My trip to China       

  Last year, during December, my family visited China. On the way to Chongli, we went to The Great Wall of China. It was very windy and cold at The Wall. My dad’s friend, my dad, Ryan and I climbed The Wall only until one fortress because we saw that it was already very high. The scary part was when we came down. The steps were to steep and tall. After that, we continued our journey to Chongli.

  Our first destination was Chongli, we rested at my dad’s friend’s flat. After that we started playing with snow. On the next day, Ryan, my dad, my dad’s friend(let’s just call him Uncle) and I went skiing. Uncle became our coach and taught us how to ski. After a few rounds, I started skiing like a junior skier. During our last day, we played snow for the last time.

  When we reached Beijing, we rested in the hotel after we ate our lunch and dinner. On the next day, we went to The Summer Palace. It was very vast compared to the other places we visited. Next, we went to The Temple of Heaven. The architecture of the ancient buildings were very unique as it's roof has the shape of an ancient hat. 

   On the next day, we visited The Forbidden City. This was the second most vast place we visited. It has a few gardens and many ancient buildings. We also got the chance to take pictures of the emperor's throne. We also visited The White Dagoba. I think it was the least vast place we visited. Anyways, it is also nice.

  Our third destination was Shanghai. In Shanghai, there were not many ancient buildings compared to Beijing. The city was more modern. On the first day in Shanghai, I had dinner with a Chinese footballer called Wu Lei. When we were going to our dinner place, we walked past The Shanghai Bund.

  On the next day, we went to Hangzhou, to visit the Leifeng Pagoda. At Leifeng Pagoda, I learned about the legend of Bai Suzhen. After our lunch, we went on a boat ride at the lake near the pagoda. 

  On the last day, we visited The China Pavilion. In the afternoon, we went to a shopping valley which had architectures of ancient buildings. We also had our lunch there. At night, we went to the second tallest tower of China for our last dinner at Shanghai. I had a nice holiday in China and I wish to go there again.
