🕷My tour in Malaysia 🇲🇾 (Only at Perak and Penang)

                                 My tour in Malaysia 🇲🇾

Last Sunday, my parents and I had a tour between Perak and Penang. First, we sent my grandfather back to his house in Teluk Intan. Then we had a journey to Ipoh. The trip was boring so I read my book.

When we reached Ipoh, we left our luggage at Cititel Express (our hotel) and rested for a while. During lunch, I ate a Malaysian delicacy called Hor Fun. It tasted wonderful and my mum said that it was the best in Malaysia. We went shopping for books and some groceries. We then went to Gunung Lang and took a boat around the lake.Afterwards, we took pics of street arts and  walked around an alley. Next, my father and I played with my toy plane in a field just opposite our hotel. For dinner, I had fried rice in a food court.

The next morning, we packed our stuff and ate dim sum before our journey to Taiping. We visited Taiping Lake Garden(which is a park). We rented bicycles and rode around the garden for half an hour. The view of the park was amazing. They preserved the trees so well it looked as old as the hills! When we returned the bicycles, we took pics of the peaceful scenery. A Chinese pavilion which was on a bridge looked unique and made the park more beautiful. We continued our journey to Belum, Gerik. During the journey, I saw many hills with mist around them. The view looked mystical and breathtaking. I took many pics of them. We stayed in a resort called Belum Rainforest Resort Malaysia. I went swimming in the swimming pool. It was very cooling and I can see the hills from the pool.

The resort was breathtaking. It was surrounded by thousands of plants. I feel that is a green resort as it is eco-friendly. The food there was also not bad. I like their cereal as it is perfect for me.After breakfast on the next day, we set out to Penang. It took around 3 hours from Belum to Penang, so I read my book again. The bridge linking the mainland and Penang’s island was an amazing view. It looked majestic.

We had lunch in a famous Indian restaurant in Georgetown. The food was alright but the rice was cold. We rested in our resort hotel called Lost Paradise Resort and went shopping. We bought a pair of shoes for me and a few books. For dinner, we ate at a food court where we could watch the World Cup. I ordered my favourite Penang food, Char Kuey Teow, and enjoyed the match.

On the next day, we ate breakfast at a small cafe where we sat with an old man. We had Nasi Lemak and some toast. My parents had a lively chat with him. Before going to Penang Hill, we visited the Kek Lok Si temple next. During our visit, we took plenty of pictures of the temple. In Penang Hill, we took a tram up the hill. It was the fastest tram we taken in our whole life. When we reached the top of the hill, we could see the whole view of Penang. It was superb. Besides that, there are also a lot of attractions such as the Owl Museum, Camera Museum, and colonial houses. We only had the chance to visit the museums but it wasn’t too bad as it was interesting.

I went swimming in the swimming pool at Lost Paradise Resort. At the swimming pool, I made friends with a Filipino boy about my age and we played together. Later in the evening, we walked down the Georgetown street to take pictures of the murals. Here are some of the pics:

It was wonderful. For dinner, I ate Cantonese Char Hor Fun. On the final day (today), I had Kuey Teow Teng. On our trip home, we used another bridge which was long (because it wasn’t straight I guess) to go back to the mainland and back home. It was an unforgettable experience.
