🕷My trip to Perth during Chinese New Year

My trip to Perth during Chinese New Year

This Chinese New Year, my family and I went to Perth. Our first destination was Maylands where we stayed there for two nights. After putting our luggage there, we visited Swan Bell Park. In the park, there was Bell Tower, a unique bridge and many tall towers. We also went to Kings Park.

On the next day, we visited Caversham Wildlife Park. We saw wombats, possums, wallabies, sheeps, koalas, kangaroos, birds and even snakes! We got a chance to touch some of the animals  like the wombats, snake, possum and kangaroos. We also could milk a cow.

After that, we gone to a beach called Cottesloe beach. It was very windy there and a lot of sand was flying around. We took pictures of waves, sand and the scenery at the beach. We then had a picnic to see the sunset.

On the next day, on Valentine’s Day, we had a picnic at Kings Park. We went to Kings Park is it is the nearest park at the place we are staying now, which is  Northbridge. Many couples were over there having picnic. Some of them set up their picnic spots with tables too. It was a very nice day.

On the following day, after my aunt, cousins and grandparents reached Perth, we visited Pinnacles. The rocks were very unique looking. We took many pictures of the stones. After that, we went to Lancelin to sandboard. The experience was the best I had that day.

On the next day, my family, except for my mother and grandmother, visited Rottnest Island, which means "rat nest" because it was home to a species of rodents called quokkas.  We took a ferry to the island. When we arrived there, I put sunscreen and changed to my shorts and swimming trunks.

We took a bus to Little Salmon Bay to go the beach but the sand was too hard and the area was too small to swim. We took the bus to Wadjemup Lighthouse and took a few pictures of it. I saw many quokkas and took many pictures of them.

After that, we took a bus to our final destination, a beach,( I forgotten it's name) so that we can swim there. Immediately after we made it to the beach, I wore my goggles and went into the  sea. I took many underwater pictures and even took selfies with my cousins. At night, my cousins and I played Wii together. I felt happy.

We went to Fremantle Market to buy souvenirs and to see why is it the best market in Perth. We bought a boomerang, a pencil box and a singlet at the market. In the evening, we went to Kings Park to play my launch glider with my cousin. We also got to play Wii at night before we left for Malaysia. I totally enjoyed this trip.
