My Trip to Teluk Intan

My Trip to Teluk Intan               On the Sunday before Christmas, my father brought my granduncle and I to Teluk Intan now that the school holidays are finally here. We left around 7.30 p.m. and had some breakfast at a nearby kopitiam. When we're done eating , we left for Teluk Intan on my father's car. The journey took about 3 hours and I even took several naps in between. We finally reached Teluk Intan around noon and dropped my granduncle off at his friend's house.                 My father and I then visited my grandfather and sat down at this house briefly. I looked at old photos of my father's childhood and also my photos when I was a toddler. Well, after resting for a while, we headed of for lunch at some food stalls selling Nasi Kandar at Dataran Speedy. The Nasi Kandar we ordered was served with a variety of curry and meat like mutton, beef and chicken. It was so filling I wasn't able to finish it all. After the hearty meal, we fetched my grandfather ba

My New Dogs, Panda and Chez

My Dogs, Panda and Chez                It had been almost 2 years since my previous dog, Chiki, passed away. Recently, we got two new dogs; the white dog with black spots called Panda, and the black and light brown dog called Chez. Both of them are equally playful. We first brought back Panda just after my dad and I finished our golfing session at the driving range. We got Chez home on the next day.                             At first, Panda was really weak and ill; she couldn't poop at all. But after some treatments, she was able to go back to normal.                 Chez really loved other people's attention. He would always play around and she loves running around.                    Panda really had a cute face, but as they say, don't judge a book by its cover. She would bite people really hard unlike Chez. However, Panda knows how to greet us when we come back from somewhere else. She would often be seen lying down but if she's not, she's probably play-fi

🕷Chinese New Year at Singapore

Chinese New Year at Singapore       During this year’s Chinese New Year, my family and I celebrated Chinese New Year with our relatives. Early in the morning, we left for the airport and reached there around noon. We reached our relative’s flat and put all our luggage there before resting. After settling down, we joined them for lunch at a restaurant which specialises in Peking Duck where we had Yee Sang  and Peking Duck too (duh). It was a heartful meal indeed. Afterwards, my parents, my grandfather and my cousin went shopping at Uniqlo. After buying some clothes there, my family and I went to Marina Bay Sands. We initially planned to go up to the observation deck, but the staff said we had to wait for 12 hours, so we decided to visit it on the next day. So, we walked around the famous Singapore Art Science Museum and took several pictures nearby. The Art Science Museum The Marina Bay Sands from outside     At n

Holiday at Indonesia During late December, my family and I planned a trip to Padang and Bukittinggi at West Sumatera, Indonesia. We left for the airport on 20th December early in the morning. In the afternoon, we checked-in to our hotels after we arrived. Then, we ate lunch at Lamun Ombak before heading off to Adityawarman Museum. We saw various artefacts and also preserved animals within its display cases. There were also skulls and bones of prehistoric humans at the site. As the sun was setting, my family and I went to Pantai Air Manis to chill out. There was also a rock which resembled a man prostrating on a boat. Then we had a ride around the beach on a trishaw. After the ride, we had some sweet refreshing coconut water as a drink.  The Minangkabau Airport Lunch Adityawarman Museum The strange rock The beach O n the next day, we went island hopping. Fir
